- Thanks for joining us Andre, can you start out by introducing yourself and explaining what made you want to work in the slot industry?
Thanks for having me! My background in gaming actually started with poker. I played professionally for a while, which gave me a strong feel for game dynamics and player behavior. From there, I moved into roles around game integrity and product testing before transitioning to casino operations and game production.
Eventually, I reached a point where I wanted to take all of that hands-on experience and create something of my own. That’s how Bullshark Games was born, built around the idea of making games we’d actually want to play ourselves.
- What sets Bullshark Games apart in such a competitive slots market, especially amongst other studios operating across Latin America and Brazil?
We’re still relatively new on the scene, but what helps us stand out is our focus on suspense and unpredictability. Players today want more than just flashy visuals, they want an emotional ride. That’s why our games are built to create moments of tension, whether through progressive features or mechanics that keep evolving throughout the game. We also put a lot of effort into making sure our games run smoothly on all devices, especially mobile, which is crucial in almost any market including Latin America.
- What’s your approach when it comes to developing a new slot from scratch, and when creating a game, do you have a specific audience, like Latin American players, in mind?
Every game starts with a mechanic or emotion we want to build around. Sometimes it’s the thrill of high volatility, other times it’s the slow build of a progressive feature. While we don’t design games solely for one region, we absolutely consider audience preferences, like visual style and pacing. Latin American players often enjoy games with dynamic bonuses, fast action, and vibrant themes, things we naturally gravitate toward in our designs anyway.
- Can you tell us a little bit about Bullshark’s most successful game to-date, and what do you think it is that made this particular slot so successful?
Our most successful title so far has been Age of Seth. It really resonated with players thanks to its combination of layered progression, strong visual design, and high win potential. The symbol collection mechanic kept players engaged by providing a clear sense of momentum, while second-chance features and a volatile bonus round made every spin feel meaningful. It struck a sweet spot between strategy and surprise, and I think that balance is what made it stand out. The feedback we got showed that players appreciated both the tension and the reward structure, and it’s one we’re especially proud of.
- Do you think players from Latin America prefer certain types of games and bonuses when playing slots, if so, what are they?
From what we’ve seen, players in Latin America tend to enjoy fast-paced games with high win potential and bonus rounds that offer real excitement. Features like free spins with multipliers, persistent progress mechanics, and ways to get lucky in the base game go over especially well. We try to bake these into many of our titles without overcomplicating the experience.
- You have a new slot coming out soon, Charm of the Dragon, what can you tell us about this game?
Charm of the Dragon is all about momentum. It starts with 243 ways to win and can expand up to 7,776 during play. With every win, either the reels expand or the multiplier ladder increases, adding an extra layer of excitement. During Free Spins, sticky Mystery Symbols are added, and all features become progressive, so the longer the round lasts, the more thrilling it gets. - Can you also tell us about Astro Rumble, another new slot that was recently released by Bullshark Games.

- Finally, what does the future hold for Bullshark Games?
We’re just getting started. The second half of 2025 is packed, we’ve got some exciting games in development that introduce mechanics we haven’t used before. One will feature our own twist on the well-known Hold and Win mechanic, while another combines everything we love in a slot: cluster pays, multipliers, and exploding wilds, everything you need for a wild ride.
Beyond the games, we’re focused on expanding our presence in regulated markets and continuing to build strong relationships with partners across Latin America and beyond. The goal is always the same: to keep surprising players and pushing boundaries.
